If you are a new patient with Dr. Bowen, your first visit will entail a comprehensive eye exam. In most instances, Dr. Bowen will recommend having your eyes dilated for a thorough and complete eye exam. Please expect to have your eyes dilated during your first visit.
Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with his patients and explaining how their eyes are doing. The total first visit time may last 1 or 2 hours depending on the nature of your problem and the need for additional diagnostic testing. Dr. Bowen strives to minimize waiting time and makes the process of collecting important information about your health, diagnostic testing, and a complete eye exam as efficiently as possible.
Before your first appointment, we will email a link so you can fill out our intake paperwork on-line and without having to print it out. We appreciate you taking the time to fill out this important information before your appointment to minimize your time in the office and maximize your time with Dr. Bowen.
